The last weekend in April, Lone Pine filled with folks wearing binoculars and carrying cameras. They were there to view thousands of birds ravenously feeding to increase their reserves for flight and flocks of other migrants undulating overhead.

Inyo and Mono’s annual Livestock Field Day will be held at the Bishop FFA Farm on Sunland Drive this Sunday, April 12. All 4-H families are invited to attend. This event is mandatory for members ages 9-19 who will be showing an animal at the Junior Livestock Show and Auction.
