Tuesday, Jan. 26

Inyo County Supervisors
The Inyo County Board of Supervisors will meet at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room, County Administrative Center, 224 N. Edwards, Independence.

Calico Quilters Day Lilies
The Calico Quilters monthly meeting will be held at 10 a.m. at the Highlands Mobile Park Family recreation hall. Any interested people are welcome. Call Barbara Stuhaan, president, if you have any questions,  873-9956.

Rotary Club of Bishop

NIH Auxiliary

Bishop town hall meeting
The Bishop City Council will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. in the Tallman Pavilion located on the grounds of the Tri-County Fair. The purpose of the meeting will be to receive input and begin dialog with the local business community regarding the challenges of operating a small business in the Bishop area.

Native Plant society
Sagebrush and Pinyon-Juniper Restoration, California Native Plant Society Bristlecone Chapter program will be at 7 p.m. at White Mountain Research Station, 3000 E. Line St., Bishop. Heather Stone, interagency vegetation management planner with the Bishop BLM and Inyo National Forest, will speak about ecosystem restoration techniques.
