Passionate about food preservation? Want to learn and make friends with others also interested in canning, dehydrating and freezing?
The University of California Cooperative Extension of Inyo and Mono counties will be providing instructor training in food preservation in late March with applications for the course available now.
The training is part of the recently-launched Master Food Preserver program with the goal of training the public in approved food preservation methods and food safety standards. Upon completion of the training course, volunteers will be responsible for leading public classes and demonstrations on food preservation throughout Inyo and Mono counties.
