Lynelle Jo Romero

Born April 26, 1950 in Coalinga, Lynelle Jo Romero, 63, passed away Feb. 14, 2014 at Riverside Community Hospital.
Lynelle was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Oyster.
Lynelle was a teacher who had taught in numerous places in her 38 years of teaching at Utah, Big Pine, Owens Valley High School and Lone Pine High School. She loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She loved to read books and travel with her mother and sons. She had a heart of gold and will be truly missed by all.
She is survived by mother, Aldene Felton of Independence; brothers, Craig and Debi Oyster of Council, Idaho, Lyle and Sheri Oyster of Independence; sister, Carla and Dwight Hemmings of Lumby British Columbia; son, Chad Romero of Lone Pine and his fiancée Asia Gonzales of Bishop; grandson, Alex Romero of Bishop; son, Tyson Romero of Lone Pine; granddaughter, Jasmyne Romero of Bishop; grandsons, Tyler, Miles and Wyatt Romero, all of Lone Pine; daughter, Laurie and Gary Velasco; and granddaughter, Kendall Velasco, all of Murrieta. Lynelle also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at noon, Saturday, March 1 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 451 E. Locust St. in Lone Pine. A potluck will follow.
