Inyo ready to celebrate July 4

June 30, 2014

The Bishop Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Independence Day fireworks extravaganza at about 9 p.m. Friday at the Eastern Sierra Regional Airport on East Line Street. The cost is $20 a car, and residents are encouraged to bring barbecues, kiddie pools, party games and their own safe and sane fireworks to set off on the airport runway before the main event.
