TUESDAY: Free computer classes
Free weekly computer and Internet classes are held at the Bishop Branch Library, 210 Academy St., Bishop, from 3-4:30 p.m. for beginners and 6-7:30 p.m. for users at the intermediate level. The purpose of these free weekly sessions is to help the residents of Bishop become more acquainted with computer and Internet skills needed in today’s online environment. If you are scared of using technology, this class is for you. It is a hands-on, interactive learning experience (iPads provided) that requires no previous knowledge. WEDNESDAY: Hospital auxiliary meeting
The Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary will hold a workshop at 10 a.m. at the annex building, corner of Birch and Grandview in Bishop. Anyone is welcome who is interested in helping to volunteer to raise money for life-saving equipment for the hospital. For more information, call Shirley Stone at (760) 872-1914.

THURSDAY: United We Ride meeting

FRIDAY: Manzanar Pilgrimage reception
A meet and greet will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the Eastern California Museum, 155 N. Grant St., in Independence. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call (760) 878-0084.

SATURDAY: Opening of the General Trout Season
Most all lakes and streams throughout Inyo and Mono counties open to fishing just before sunrise. Rejoice!
